A healing space

for creativity.

Marnin Studio is a therapeutic art space where art and connection become tools for healing. It's an incubator for creative expression, offering women a chance to relax, learn, and grow. Through a strength-based and community-led approach, the studio provides a platform for empowerment, creating opportunities for women to generate income while building confidence in their skills.

Set within Marninwarntikura Women’s Resource Centre in Fitzroy Crossing, Western Australia, Marnin Studio is grounded in the vision of local Bunuba, Gooniyandi, Wangkatjungka, Walmajarri, and Nyikina women. United by shared purpose and creativity, the studio embodies its meaning: Marnin 'women', in Walmajarri language. We envision a thriving community where Indigenous women’s creativity flourishes, cultural stories are celebrated, and the transformative power of art fosters healing, well-being, and connection to the Fitzroy Valley’s land and seasonal rhythms across generations.
